BOOKING CHARGES FOR 2009
The following charges cover for areas/rooms of the building that are agreed to be used at the time of booking. The areas concerned are the use of the hall, lounge/bar, kitchens and toilets all of which are separate areas for hire within the building. The chairs and tables are included in the charge, however the use of crockery/cutlery, tablecloths and wine glasses are an additional charge.
For example: Dance Classes will be expected to use the main Hall for group bookings. If the lounge area is required or booked by other groups the lounge area would be an extra charge @ £12 per hour.
Charges or rates may be amended by the Management Committee at any time without notification.

The hirer will be required to finance the cost of making good any damaged fixture or fittings within the building or surrounding grounds if the damage is found to have been done whilst a function is being held. If the damage cost is within the Security Deposit this will be used to repair or replace the items. However, if the damage is so excessive that additional funding is required to complete the repair, then the hirer will be held responsible for all the costs incurred.
A deposit of £25 is payable at the time of booking. A bond of £70 will be charged for all functions, this is returnable after the function has taken place if no damage is caused and the conditions of hire have not been breached.

CANCELLATIONS
If you cancel your confirmed booking for any reason the following charges will apply;
Cancellation, more than 8 weeks prior to arrival date – Full deposit only.
Cancellation, between 4 and 8 weeks prior to arrival date - 50% of rental fee.
Cancellation, within 4 weeks prior to arrival date - 100% of rental fee. Plus, any stock taken in or ordered especially for the Bar which is time limited such as Beer and Lager in Barrels. |
